After his hours were cut at work, he took a leap of faith, purchasing a truck and trailer to start his own hauling and junk removal company. Within just one month, customer demand grew, and Sean reinvested in a larger trailer to better serve his community. Entrepreneurship runs in his family; his mother has successfully operated a local home cleaning business for over 20 years. That same drive and dedication to customer service fuels Sean’s work every day. With a strong work ethic and a passion for helping people reclaim their space, Sean leads SJ Hauling with honesty, hustle, and heart.
Jared Holmes, a proud Dartmouth native and union member, brings a strong work ethic and deep commitment to community to everything he does. With a passion for helping others and a talent for hands-on work, Jared teamed up with longtime friend Sean Burns to launch SJ Hauling & Junk Removal. Even while being part of the union workforce, Jared saw an opportunity to make a real difference through reliable, local service. Whether he continues full-time or returns to union work, his goal is to help the business grow and serve more Massachusetts communities with honesty, hustle, and heart.
Jared & Sean had an urge to become entrepreneurs. We took a leap of faith and purchased a pickup truck. Thanks to our great community on Facebook, we were able to start earning in our first week! We saved up our money and purchased a professional-sized trailer to help clean up our community one job at a time.
